only use that **** to get stoves and houses and worthless material possessions and ****.... why cant 100 of you cats get together and actract the cure for aids, or food for starving orphans in a third world country, dont greedy americans know about the responsibilty that comes with privilage... im not mad at egotistical self servers who use the secret for themselves only, cas its your choice and i dont belive in it in the first place (atleast not in the form its been marketed as) but.... if i did i wouldint be such a self centered spoilied brat to use it like it has.. explain to me... because if i though i could change the universe with mere thoughts i would make people self actualized or atleast put some food in some bellys.... not ask for a pointless sports car and a mansion...

I totally agree with you. I have a big fat problem with "The Secret", "Abraham-Hicks" and all that "Law of Attraction" stuff. It's for totally self-centered, narcissistic people.

I have seen the secret but have never seen it in action or actually work for someone besides the people in the book and movie

I feel you man. i just got through having a conversation with someone else about these " the secret " freaks. I have watched the secret video and i find it very very alarming. It teaches people to ask for selfish material things. Actually our wealth comes from the sound business decsions that we make! So instead of asking the universe for wealth we should be asking for wisdom for guidence. They are selfish atheists! They only teach 1 half of the principle. They dont teach that in order for you to gain those possesion who have to follow the commands of the universe. IF Charles Manson always thought good thoughts would he get out of jail ???????? HELL NO! It only works when you are following the laws of the universe ie.. The commandments. Its like this THE WORD "UNIVERSE" means one but if you break it down further its like this IT'S U AND I! so in order to get what I want from the universe I have to include U somewhere!

A) Those people are as fake as a three-dollar bill. Ignore them.

B) The real McCoy are Adepts and we're not secret, merely quiet.

C) We are constrained from interference with the workings of free will and unfortunately that includes and precludes material assistance. So, no medical miracles, no magicking up tonnes of wheat or anything like that.

D) We ARE allowed within certain limits to influence the weather and certain geologic events, but not often.

E) True adepts do NOT use the power for self-aggrandisement. If we could, I'd be in a mansion instead of a 12-year old trailer. I'd drive a Lamborghini instead of a Chevy. I'd have a 72" flat-screen tv instead of a 10-year old 27 incher, etc. I'd also make Salma Hayek look like Marjorie Main by comparison.
