Why does Christianity ignore the true story of Jesus? did Jesus wonder in India and Tibet? ?

when Jesus reached the age of 13 (the age when Israelites can take a wife ) in secret he departed his parents house in Jerusalem. where did he go ?

in Tibet the talk of a great monk(Imma) by the name of Issa (Tibetan form of the name Jesus)
young Issa studied for six years among the Brahmins and other Indian holy cities. The priests of Brahma "taught him to read and understand the Vedas, to cure by aid of prayer, to teach, to explain the holy scriptures to the people, and to drive out evil spirits from the bodies of men, restoring unto them their sanity."
Even the great teacher Gandhi quoted from Jesus teachings alot of the time

Because of Issa's controversial teachings, a death plot was devised against him. But the Sudras warned him and he left Juggernaut, establishing himself in Gautamides (the birthplace of the Buddha Sakyamuni) where he studied the sacred writings of the Sutras. "Six years after, Issa, whom the Buddha had elected to spread his holy word, had become a perfect expositor of the sacred writings. Then he left Nepal and the Himalayan mountains, descended into the valley of Rajputana, and went towards the west, preaching to diverse peoples the supreme perfection of man.Following this, Issa briefly visited Persia where he preached to the Zoroastrians. Then, at 29, he returned to Israel and began to preach all that he had learned.

Jesus was an adept Yogi he had mastered complete control of his body and physical world around him true the teachings of these Gurus and Monks and it took him 16 yrs to perfect.

What do you think?

not trying to dismiss the bible but there is nothing in the bible about jesus fromthe time he was 12 to the time he began teaching at 30yrs old 18yrs missing!!!

I have heard this tale before, many years ago. It is not out of the realm of possibility.

But the bible thumpers could not possibly believe that "increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man" could happen in the east. There is just no way that their Jesus could have taken this trip to visit the lands of the " three wise men ", is there?

Did anyone ever notice how the teachings of Jesus quite often reflect Buddhist philosophy?

I hope Christians don't take too much offense, I only meant a little.

Yes i heard this apparently he is buried in the east somewhere(look tomb of jesus) A lot of what he taught sounds more buddist than jewish. Also the 3 wise men that came from the east may be significant because that is similar to how the new reincarnations of the dali lama are found.

Christians don't ignore the true story of Jesus. The true story of Jesus is told in the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John). There is nothing about him going to India or Tibet.

About as believable as any fairytale.

I think you have a very vivid imagination.

um wow. Theoretically if this is the same Jesus we know, who is as trustworthy as trustworthy can get, then we'd know about it in the present day Bible......

I think you are right. I have believed it for a long time. I mean come on he said turn the other cheek. thats tibetan buddhism if ive ever seen it.

They ignore it because it challenges their idea of his life,

I suppose he learnt Carpentry whilst in India too?

There is also an interesting tale of him living the last years of his life in Japan studying zen.
His grave can also be seen there,

I think its interesting... but it isn't popular or true

What do I think? I think you made this up. Why would you believe this nonsense and so readily dismiss the Bible?

Wow - that is quite a tale.

False

Are a lot a roomers where for JESUS where he was from 16 to 31 years old ...the bible ignores these personal Jesus - years...Another roomer is went to Egypt - where he Join the Temple RA and became a High Priest...and that is more likely...because Egypt is a lot closer to ISRAEL ...with easier Access plus he was more familiar with Egypt from the past travels his mother & father done there...plus in the Bible are a couple of references ...that when JESUS was younger fought the DEVIL in the desert...But do NT take my word for it...another possibility is that he went no-where he just stayed in ISRAEL and became a Super Carpenter of fisherman.-

Naa, but you never no.. there are many things not mentioned in the bible. Mainly they're irrelevant im not saying what you claim is but most things not mentioned are irrelevant.. most things sceptics and others dispute in the bible are the things not mentioned like The Universe, Solar Systems, Planets, Moons, Atoms, DNA, Evolution, The Big Bang, etc etc.. now why do we need to know all these things, why? i'll tell you why its because of mans curiosity to know everything and eventually make life with his own hands and be as wise as the Creator of all things "God" this is not what God wanted.. Even the top scientists do not want you to know what they know yet you still believe their findings.

The tibetan connection has been rubbished for the simple reason that buddhism did not reach tibet until a few centuries after Christ !

With all due respect the vedas contain a wealth of information but these are very different from the faith preached by Christ. Also the vedas with all is treasure of medicinal sciences does not contain anything that can raise people from the dead.

There isn't a shred of evidence to indicate that Jesus was an adept yogi, nor that he visited Asia in his youth. In fact, when he was brought to the temple for his bar mitzvah at aboutr 13 years old the story says that he returned home to Nazareth with his parents. From then on we know nothing about how he lived or what he did. I assume he just was a normal Jewish man who worked as a carpenter just as his father Joseph did. That's the way life was then.

Ok, first off, you'll want to go back to the 'original' sources for Jesus.

Theres the New Testament, but that is four gospels compiled in 360ad from a very large selection of materials available- thanks to modern day archealogy we have a whole range of gospels that were written between 60-300ad- and venerated in early christian churches across the roman empire --and a great many do talk about Jesus' life from 13-30- of course they contradict and largely tell the story of a composite character- sometimes jewish messiah and sometimes graeco-roman god, borrowing from a variety of traditions rather than an actual real person and of course, back then everybody wrote pseudononymously so we've got a bunch of books all purportedly written by the same apostles and yet all in different dialects and with different ideas about Jesus.

However if you want to start juxtaposing your own religions myths onto JC you'll need to, well i was going to say you'll need to make sure they don't contradict the other sources we have- but then again that would be impossible as all the sources together- or even just the four gospels considered canonical all add up to a bit of a mess in the first place. So really i guess, you can define Jesus however you want to based on your selection of the material because the 'historical' Jesus is impossible to pin down- even to a particular year in time.

it is irrelevant to our salvation whether or not Jesus in his sojourn here on Earth visited other places in the so-called missing years of his youth. he could have been anywhere in the universe.
what matters is that if what he promised would come true and whether or not you accept the fulfillment of the promise.
everything else is history and knowing it would be just to satisfy our inquisitive nature and additional knowledge..nothing more.
