Would you kill one innocent child if it will cure all dieases around the world? |
Hi my name is Paulette and im in the 6 grade. One day my computer teacher told my class and I a random question, he asked "would you kill one innocent child if it will cure all disease around the world?" So that means AIDS, HIV, Diabetes, cholesterol, High blood pressure, arthritis, Cancer, and yes, everything else will be cured and people lives will last longer. NO I DON'T THINK I COULD TAKE A LIFE THAT GOD PUT HERE. I personally wouldn't do it. I couldn't kill an innocent child, because what if that was you? It wouldn't be fair. In the future, a looonngg time from now, I'm pretty sure they would have developed cures for all these diseases, so you killing that one child would have been a waste. That one child could have been the one that would have found a cure for a disease. I know I sound sooo into this, but seriously, I would never even consider killing someone, even though it would save so many people. The death of one child would spare the lives of millions of other children, so in a sense, killing the child would be for the greater good; however, I don't think I could do it with my own hands. I could only do it on the condition that I would not see the child at all. Heck... I don't think I could even do that. I have a son, and I would just imagine that it was him, and it would eat me up inside. I would probably kill myself. Let every man give as he see's fit and ask not a child to do what other won't do! A child has not discernment of right and wrong and can not be asked to sacrifice for others and what you ask is wrong unless you wish to give up your own life for others! You have made the choice and not others! Beware of putting your hand on the Innocent in a false pretense of doing good, for it is not your call unless its you! The question is creative but of no common sense; that is what we are facing today in the world. No, because god or whoever made the world made diseases, and they made them for a reason. Without disease the world population would grow and we'd eventually die of starvation. And plus, seeing people die, gives us character, and determination to stay healthy. Maybe your professor would kill a child but i dont. Their must be a way to cure it. Let the child grows up to become a man and let him decide himself if he either want to live or not. Everyone deserve to live u know I recently lost my dog. she suffocated on my bedroom floor. What about this innocent childs family? and people who care about the child. You obviously don't know what it feels like to lose someone you love. yes, but I'd also get quick smart into managing the massive overpopulation which would result, cause even if diseases wouldn't kill people, malnutrition and poverty would. What kind of a messed up question is that? I dunno what I would do because I am a child (in year 9) but I have had diabetes since I was 7 and I am now 13. Poor kid! :) Thats a tough one... but i guess i would have to look at it like, would i kill myself if it saved billions of people, yes, i would. Yes, as it is only one child, when absolutely billions of lives will be saved! no i couldn't kill the kid, diseases can still be fought against and someday beaten, but i could never get the guilt off from killing a kid. No. The reason is if you would kill 1, you would kill 1000, or 1 Million. yes, if it would cure all diseases permanently, i would. If anyone says no, they should be the one who is killed. Yes, and that child will go down in history. strange question to ask a 6th grader,,,,i am sure one day your answer will change when you get older. Agreed. Kill all the sick ones. That will clean things up! YEAH! why not? if it cures ALL the diseases. no I don't know anyone with a disease. why do I have to be the one. is the child ugly? Hello! Well I would but ONLY! ONLY IF! the child was willing and he/she knew that it would benefit the human race for all time to come. I wouldnt just go up and kill him. I mean, imagine you're the kid. Playing with your toys and someone knocks on your door and tells your mom and dad that if you die then all disease will be cured. Imagine the terror a child would feel, to know that his own mother and father the ones to protect him and be there would kill him to know you wouldnt wake up in the morning.... but Dont get me wrong! i mean yeah i probably would do it too to save humanity from diseases and all, but i mean just put yourslef in his.her shoes.... anyway please answer this question its a lot similar to yours!! |
