Has a cure for AIDS been found? |
Has a cure for AIDS been found? no - No. HIV (virus that can lead to AIDS) mutates a lot, so one single medication or vaccination would not kill all strains of the virus. One guy got cured with bone marrow well i read in a paper abt a resistant gene in da population that can resist AIDS.the bone marrow transplant the guys above wer talking abt were made from such a gene owner.also this year nobel prize was given to medicine abt studies related to genetic mutation in HIV.we can hope a new cure will be discovered.there have also been news that in India some vaccine is on the last stages of testing.i dont know its full details,u better search on google. According to western medicine there is no cure for AIDS. Except supportive therapy. It's a possibility. An American man in Berlin who had AIDS recently had a bone marrow transplant and currently has no signs of AIDS or the HIV virus. I believe he also had Leukemia (that's why he had the bone marrow transplant). This type of study was done in the 90's (I think) and also had good results. Also, look at Magic Johnson ;) Hope this helped! i heard something about a test in germany or somewhere and it cured a mans (i forget if it was aids or cancer (lol)) but they are not sure if the man is a special case so more testing needs to be done. but with technology moving so fast i am confident a cure is nearby No. However there are a few cases in the UK where all signs of aids have been cure by a bone marrow transplant. It seems to be by fluke though it doesnt work all that often but has happened. I am 22 and am willing to bet if i live a full life there will be a cure in my lifetime. Yes, Many cases of AIDS cured, I know personally 5 AIDS patient cured. I have seen HIV viral load report(both diseased and cured). no... they DO FIND CURES, but, the thing is, that the virus bacteria keep on CHANGING. its very frustrating. if you give a vaccine for one virus, it will just change to another form. so unfortunately no. No. Yes but we make too much money in the medical field treating it so it would be fatal to the medical economic state to release such a practice. Unfortunate but true. No...treatments are improving all the time but no cure yet. There's a lot of work on a vaccine right now. Sometimes I wonder if they really even know what causes it. There is some controversial studies out there that suggest that it is not directly caused by the HIV virus, etc. Yeah. Monogamy. actually I read an article on yahoo that a man had been cured from doing a bone marrow transplant...well kinda I guess. lol But anyhow..I will give you the link. sadly no there are just more advance medication to make people who have aids live a lil more normal Yea to scream and run jk chances are, there will never be a cure. NO so don't be stupid and sleep around or share needles... Sorry no. No. yeh abstinence kind of no yes i guess............ |
