We have "glow in the dark" dogs but no cure for AIDS?

uhhh?! your thoughts please...

My thoughts are it's freaking ridiculous. How about a cure for cancer made public considering it's an old disease that has been around forever & affects us all. So many, many things to cure or at least control but hey, let's make dogs glow. They say it's for medical reasons & will help in research, but come on. They just wanted to make the first glowing dog :)
