Why do we spend so much money on retarded people? |
When we could be curing cancer or AIDS? It's not like they're going to actually be helped. I think this is a question to get people riled up... But if not... ok? Report Abuse Because they are humans, too. They have feelings, wants, needs just like you do. They have to be taught to take care of themselves. Most of the time, their parents are neglectful. I could go on and on, but if you don't get it.....well, I don't know. Because the democrats need to expand their voter base. The majority of Dems are mentally deficient, so more spending and programs for them results in more votes during election years. Simple as that. i had a similar question, just had pro-sepcial ed people scream at me Wow, it's sad that there are people like you in the world.
