If you could have a cure for cancer or a cure for AIDS, which would you choose?

AIDS. it would be the 1st virus we have ever found a cure for, we could use that knowledge to cure other viruses

Good question. Cancer affects many more people, but AIDS is contagious and quickly adapts to treatments.

I would choose AIDS, because it's already adapted into "super-aids" and virii just scare the crap outta me in general. Cancer USUALLY attacks someone later in life, often for carcinogens that could've been avoided. Cancer is not passed in mother's milk.

AIDs. AIDS is a pandemic. It can be transferred from one person to another. In some countries in Africa over 30% of the population has AIDs.

Cancer, though, terrible, at least has treatment that can put you into remission. The chances for surviving many cancers are very high now and get better each day.

I wanted to say cancer first, but there already are some treatments for cancer. Then I wanted to choose AIDS, but you still have to use a condom, so my final answer is" a cure for cancer".

I would love to have a cure for Cancer, I hate Cancer, it's in my own family.
Then I would set out to find a cure for AIDS ;-)

you can't cure cancer, as we each have a cancer gene. it would have to be aids.
