Do any of you believe there will be a cure for HIV/AIDS in the near future?

There may be a vaccine, but it's doubtful that there will ever be a cure for those who are already infected.

HIV is a virus, so it's pretty much impossible to get rid of. Viruses take over human cells, so destroying the virus would also mean destroying your own cells along with it. That's why the drug cocktails we use today for HIV can slow down the replication of the virus, but they don't actually kill it. To make matters worse, HIV actually merges with your DNA and becomes a part of it. Once that's done, there's no way to separate it out.

I definitely believe that a vaccine will be made eventually though.. but it's tough because HIV is also constantly mutating, making it hard to nail down. It's only a matter of time though!

in olden days HIV infected persons die early

but now due to our medical facility their life time is increased

after infection also they can live for long time

if a person is infected by HIV in age 30 can live till age 55 and above

normally every persons are duying at age 65 now a days

so only 10 years is differencs

in future persons infected by HIV in age 20 can live upto age 70

good medicial facility will be done for them in fuure.

unfortunatley, unless if we find the penicillian that works against viruses. No cure, ever.
We can't cure viruses, at least not in this day and age.
Now a vaccine is what you can hope for, and yes, i hope so, if not believe so.

Well yes, for sure why not? the researchers are doing their job of curing the disease permanently, in the near future.
