I was interested in taking a legal supplement to aid my weight training, any suggestions?


Im about 6'2 - 185 - would like to be a more muscular 195-200....Any speciific drugs or sites would be great

If you are eating a normal, healthy, balanced diet then supplements are entirely unecessary.
You do not need to 'load' your body with protein before or after a training session - this is a misunderstanding of how protein metabolism works.
Muscle growth (like any growth) happens slowly and if you eat more than your body can cope with at the time the excess is converted into two things:
- one part is respired to provide energy, the
- other part is converted to urea and excreted in urine.
The part respired might not be needed to make energy immediately so it is treated like excess carbohydrate and fat and converted into adipose tissue (fat beneath the skin). Consequently you should be wary of overloading with proteins just as you would for fats and carbohydrates.

Creatine is the best, but any protein or whey supplements will help you as long as you are putting in the work.

Why is it so many want to do that? Don't! Let your muscle build without using all that. Eat lots of protein instead.

Take Creatine, Whey protien with carbs, Slow release multi stage whey protien.

my husband is a body builder... his advice to you is:

do not take any supplements during training, eat plenty of protien and carbs on the days that you train and work hard. do not try to overwork yourself as you can cause a hernia- which will only set you back. to achieve a "perfect" body- you have to train at least 2 hours a day... focusing on a different region of your body every other day. (legs today, back tomorrow, arms the next... etc)

creatine works for about 60% of the people but not for the rest

you can try it - make it up in a fruit juice base - it needs to be a bit acidic - spend 10 days loading it into your body - take 30g a day during this time spread into three drinks then you can use 5-10g a day thereafter


you will know in a few weeks if it is working as your weight gain will go up - if not it is not for you

also if you get a gut upset, feel bloated or tingles in your shins dont use it anymore


the only other thing that really works is extra protein - you can get this from an extra meal of tuna, steak or chicken or if you prefer make up a protein shake after your workout and another at night - look any whey based poweder will do - go for a cheap brand name - despite hype they are all the same!
