A better life???

My boyfriend and i grew up doing a lot of drugs and making a royal mess out of lives. We have extensive criminal histories and even though i was lucky enough to hold a decent work history (3-4 years at my jobs) his work history is not so good. Both have us have cleaned up our act ; stopped doing drugs, stopped breaking the law and now we're just stuck and don't know what to do. Does anyone have any advice on how we can improve our futures (ie how we can apply for aid for schooling, etc) ??
Please serious answers only we both know we shouldn't have gotten ourselves in this mess in the first place but we did and now we seriously want to make a good life for ourselves. Thank you.

try the pell grant, get an application at any state college.........good going!!!!! you'll make it !!! everyone deserves second and third and even more chances!!! even some police officers will go the extra mile for you ....

Yeah to apply for school you can get a Pell Grant. GO to WWW.ED.GOV its really cool cause you don't have to pay it back. But life can be crazy sometimes, I joined the military to make my life better and so far it is. I wasn't on drugs or anything but I did have problems following the law
