Lose as much weight as possible.?


Im a big guy seeking to better his life health wise and hopefully in the process mental wise.
Anyways Im about 6 fett tall and weigh about 370 lbs maybe a little less but thats beside the point. Not to try and excuse myself for being fat I just wanna point out that Im not a lazy bum in total and a decent amount of the weight comes from some muscle and large bones(Im not joking) despite my large wrists you can feel my bones at the very edge of my skin. Anyways
I wanna know the healthiest and more importantly FASTEST way to get as fit as possible meanign lose as much body fat as possible while maintaining and building a good amount of muscle mass. Also due to health risks and just bad rumors I wanan stear away from pills or drugs if possible, but if they can TRUELY aid in this fight and keep ti that way without having to continually take it should I reach my goal then so be it.
Anyways please help.

Hi there...First off, let me commend you on wanting to better yourself, and your life...That's very admirable. Secondly, you will have to be motivated, and COMMITTED to busting your butt, in order to achieve some success at getting in shape.

There are three KEY aspects to achieving success at getting in shape:
1.) DIET...or shall I say "Live-it"...You must permanently change your eating habits in order to jump-start your metabolism, lose weight, and burn fat. Eat foods high in PROTEIN, FIBER, and low in FAT, and SUGAR! Drink 8 glasses of water a day to stay hydrated, to prevent bloating, and to flush out impurities. 2.) Cardio!! It is critical for you to start getting active, to speed up your metabolism, and to elevate your heart rate to a fat-burning pace...A great start would be jogging...If you don't like jogging, try power walking...Make sure to pump your arms while walking or jogging...The more muscles you engage while working out--the more calories you will burn.

3.) Strength Training...This type of training is geared towards toning, and strengthening your muscles...Try to do Total Body workouts that focus on each and every muscle...Focus on doing exercises that target the largest muscles of your body....Such as the frontal thigh muscles (aka the Quadriceps). Working out your Quads is really effective for burning more fat--while your body is at rest. Exercises such as Lunges, Squats, and Leg extensions are really good for the quads...Try this workout:

if you hace ever played any sports esp football, the best thing to do is try drill cardio exercises. first start with a warm of about 10 min jog, then do some suicides, lane slides, bench jumps, push ups ( include in warm up) , Up/downs ( run in place, drop to the ground and pick yourself back up. those are some examples that you can use. things like that are good ways to lose weight and get fit at the same time

I am a 3 year pharmacy student. As far as diet goes, a low carb diet like atkins is the fastest way to go. After about 1 year a person on a low fat diet can loose as much as a person on a low carb diet, but initially the low carb diet is faster. Low carb diets haven't been studied for safety over long term periods as they are relatively new. However, they have initially been shown to reduce blood pressure, oddly enough lower cholesterol, and most importantly drop the pounds fast in the short term.

Low carb diets are hard to stick to for some people but work good for the short term. Eventually though most people get bored with eating meat, eggs, and cheese all the time and eventually have to adopt a reasonable diet along with a healthy exercises program in order to keep the weight off.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

A vegetarian diet might be the answer.
