I WANT to END Welfare and replace it with CCC and work programs that will save the government money and make everybody earn their checks.

Get welfare people to also do "the work Americans won't do" and keep these jobs unavailible to illegals.

Put Food and medical fields under strict government control so they can stop getting rich and we will all have access to good health care and prescription drugs.

Stop blamming "the man" for our problems and rise above adversity. No more races just Americans. When people ask if we are black, white ot whatever we will say American!!!!

CCC was a work program started by Franklin D. Roosevelt during the Great Depression where instaead of welfare like today people worked on public works projects and earned their paychecks.

I know our government has condoned some horrible things.

But I am still of the opinion that our way, the American way, is the best way. And by a huge margin.

Oh, how I wish you were right about some of the things you are saying but I am afraid you are not. Yes, the government does hide a lot but unfortunately 9/11 and the AIDS epidemic are not among them. Ex-President Reagan is gone and nothing you can do can change his actions now. Many things need change but I don't believe a revolution is a peaceful way to make change. You CAN affect change in smaller ways and they do lead to bigger changes but it takes time.

Actually, the CCC things sound intriguing, I'm going to look into that...

1) If claimants refuse to work - and the government stop their welfare - won't it cost the government more (thousands of dollars each week) to treat them for malnutrition and dehydration? Won't it actually cost the government more to keep them on a drip and in a hospital bed overnight?

2) Won't companies just lay off their staff - only to force rehire them as slaves the next week?

3) Won't this mean the minimum wage is abandoned?

4) if they have to work for their wefare, what would ever motivate a employer to start paying them?

5) How much work can be done with such a low level of calorie intake? eg when i was unemployed i did a lot of voluntry work...but was completely knackered and couldn't lift my arms some days.
