Chantex and mental illness?

My partner who has Paranoid Schizophernia and myself with Bipolar started on the stop smoking aid Chantex three weeks ago. I have successfully quit, while she started hearing voices again after 5 years of going without. Just curious if anyone else with a mental illness has expeirenced a downside with this drug? She is currently in the hospital, it will take 2 weeks for Chantex to get out of her body and another 2 to hopefully get her back on track.
