If you answer yes to the question of being convicted of a drug felony on your taxes and that disqualifies you from the Hope Credit, do you have to answer yes if you have been through a qualifying drug program that has allowed you to get financial aid again? No. You answer the question exactly as it asks on any government form. If the question asks "Have you ever been convicted of a drug-related felony?" and your answer is, "Yes, but...." then the answer is yes. |
