When blood is being tested..is it possible to know wat all are present in the blood ? |
i mean lik when it is being tested....rite away would it be possible to knw whether the person has aids or has done marijuana or any other drugs...things lik tht ???......r shud specific testes b run on the blood to find out any1 of these... First of all...to all the people that said "duh"...Your answers to this question were 100 times as stupid as the question itself. The answer to the question is that they will only find out if you have AIDS, if you've done marijuana, or other drugs if they run a specific test for it. They don't put the blood in a machine and have it run all the tests that are known. When you get blood drawn, there has to be a reason...They might be looking for how your kidneys or liver are functioning, so they will test for that. If they want to know if you have been taking drugs, they can test for that as well. duh, it's a blood test! Basically, no, unless that specific test was ordered. Also, certain tests require different types of tubes - a blood count requires a tube with an anticoagulant, most chemistry tests use only the serum and not the whole blood, etc., etc. yes.as long as their not looking for street drugs. well duh... they'll know everythig also if ur healthy or not, how much sugar u have in your blood etc... Yes the Tech would have to ask for a certain test to be run. Getting your blood taken and tested is like taken a picture only more exposed. |
