Does Judge Judy hate men/ is she elitist?

In her book Beauty Fades, Dumb is Forever it is clear that during her college days she struggled with self-confidence but her father told her that very line. With this as a reference, it seems like she unfairly targets attractive all American looking youth on her show. Especially men who are suing women, or have divorced or broke up from women seem to get unjust judgements. UNFAIR!!!!
"When Judge Judy asked about a program to provide clean needles to drug addicts to prevent the spread of AIDS and hepatitis-The Courier Mail in Brisbane quoted her as saying 'Give 'em all dirty needles and let 'em die.' " I think it is elitist to be so out of touch to dismiss addicts problems and wish them death. UNFAIR!!!

i love judge judy! she is like everyone's nightmare mom lol. she doesnt hate men, she doesnt hate women, she hates stupid people that want to b rewarded for their mistakes. as far as the needle thing, i would b interested to see what the rest of the quote said, just to b sure that it was accurately represented :)

Hating men, I'm not so sure. She seems to be a strange combination of feminist and social conservative. She certainly doesn't take kindly to young, attractive men who use their charm to manipulate women, but whether that's "hating men" I'm not so sure.

Her needle comment is reprehensible, but right in line with her brand of social conservatism.

There was a kid and friends snuck out one night and vandalized some cars. She yelled at the mother "where were you?" When she said "sleeping". Judy yelled "what were you drunk"? It was 3:00 in the morning! Where was she supposed to be?

Judge Judy is so hateful , someone needs to smack her.

Judge Judy is married, idolized her father, and is all about justice. If it may seem she hates the good looking guys it is because they did something stupid or are not behaving in a courtroom. She is a former family court judge who knows how our youth acts and the discipline they need. For the drug addicts, she has a problem with people using illegal drugs and the taxpayers paying for most of their expenses. It may seem harsh what she said, but after her years on the court, she's fed up as many people are.
