Contentment?

Hi,

One day I was doing a normal thing, I was tightening a regulator valve on a gas fire. ( The gas had been turned off for hours)


I lay on my side on the floor to do it and as I did so I had an overwhelming feeling of peace, contentment and ecstasy all in one.

It only lasted for what seemed to be a couple of seconds.

I have never forgotten it and I have never experienced anything like it since.

As anyone else had a similar experience (without the aid of drugs)?

Yea I like doing it by hyperventilating and I to have to get to the floor sometimes before I fall to it.

I do it on purpose when I free dive in the gulf and don't really concentrate on the feelings I'm having at the time.

Sounds like Carbon Monoxide Poisoning!

The heavier than air can displace Oxygen and remain in the area for some time!

A rush of blood to the head, with some gas in the face. Works for me ;Brought out a helium canister;

Not CMP it's asphyxiation. Not enough to kill you but enough that you felt it. That stiff breeze probably saved your life.
