When will we wake up and realize it doesn't matter who we elect?

AlGore, John McCain,Hillary Clinton, Rudy Guliani, blah,blah,blah. It does not make a tinkers damn who we elect in '08. They are all the same, in debt to big business and special interest groups who don't care what we want, need or care about. All they do is come up with crap to keep us distracted while they get richer. Global warming, Iraq, Darfur, Aids, Gangs, Drugs, etc. It doesn't matter they don't care as long as we aren't watching them too closely. Wake up America...we are in a battle for our countries soul. The politicians don't want countries, they want one big trade zone, no boundaries. I have seen the future and it is a commercial...no, an info commercial.

You didn't understand the question. I do care. I love my country. It is being stolen from us by politicians who want open borders, no limits on immigration, just one big world to market to. Sorry to inform you but I am a grown up, the difference between us is I give a damn.

My sentiments exactly! I can't add anything except I live in UK and it's the same all over! They may as well grab someone off the street to run the country....probably do a better job!

It could matter if we wake enough people up to change the way they vote and the way they are influenced to vote by our corporate owned media.

Some one who doesn't feel the slightest like yourself may not be grown up themselves. I served in the military and love my country, but disagree with the way this country is being led. Democrat or Republican they all have their own personal agenda, with no concern for the regular everday joe. And when they are in their position it is all about $$$$$$.

The reason why we have corrupt politicians is that we, as citizens, have bought into the cynical line you just repeated.

Here's the bottom line: it will matter who you vote for when you and other citizens get up off your rears and raise enoug h**l to MAKE it matter.. That's what the American Revolution was about. And the Civil Rights Movement--and a hundred other times in our history when people stood up and wouldn't sit down until the made things change.

DON"T just vot--write your representatives. Find good candidates and work to get them elected. Show up at public hearings. Get out there and carry a sign in a demonstration if that's what it takes.

If you hate the candidates so much, run for office yourself. Don't criticize the process if you're not prepared to utilize its freedoms to the fullest!

Relax, I know where you are coming from. If you want someone stricter on immigration the only people I know of running for president that believe the same are Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and maybe Fred Thompson. Republicans have issues with them for their social issues, but I know that Mitt has it right for what I care about.

Public opinion does matter though, the more people vote, the more apt they are to listen....
