Anyone know what to look for at a scavanger hunt?

theres nine people coming to my party.
and i wanna have a scavanger hunt.

what kind of things can we look for?
were not breaking into anyones house to find there underwear.
lol.

umm i live near,
hannofords, (grocery store)
dollar tree,
mc donalds,
fas trac (gas station),
ecxards (drug store),
rite aid (drug store),
two parks,
my high school,
a grade school,
and pizza place.

and how many groups you think we should get into?!

Well, if it is nine people plus you I would say five groups for even numbers. Other wise 3-4 groups would work too.

When I was in 10th grade my teacher sent us on a scavenger hunt. But instead of things we had to bring back, it was places we had to find. He would either give us the address/name/or some clue about the place and then we had to find the place. For proof we had to take a photo of us at that place. In the day of digital camaras/camara phones that should be an easy thing. If those are unavailable, you could always splurge and buy those disposable cameras. Then you could always take extra pictures at your party too. The first group back would be the default winner unless you wanted to take the time to get the photos developed that day.

Otherwise you could look for things like a certain leaf/flower at the park. A straw a certain plasticware from mcd's and the pizza place. If your friends have money, you could have them purchase low cost items from the other places and if it is food, you can then eat them at you party. If you want to take the time to hide things, then there is no end to the possibilities, but then you couldn't play.
