Yes you can, it's called RID, but a prescription works better and is stronger. I just went through this with my girls. Make sure you vacuum and spray your house, everything in it. Anything you can wash, wash it in hot water, everything else put in plastic garbage bags for 48 hours.Put all the pillows in the dryer on high for at least 1 hour. If the lice don't have a head to live on, they die in 48 hours. Make sure you pick out all the nits and go through the process again in 10 to 11 days to make sure that any nit you couldn't find be it on the head or in hair on the floor, couch, bed, etc., they hatch in 10 or 11 days. Check the hair everyday for the 10 or 11 days also.
