Taken all by itself? In a word, no. Taken in conjunction with proper diet and exercise? Then yes.

Don't expect a pill to help you get thin, at best it's going to be an aid to weightloss but it shouldn't the key.

Sure...but typically they have unhealthy side effects, and you put the weight back on after you stop using them because the user rarely learns to make a lifestyle change (they just diet until they hit their goal, then return to their old habits).

Make a lifestyle change...eat a healthy, well-balanced diet, drink lots of water, and exercise at least 5 days a week (shoot for at least 1 hour a day). THAT is how to get fit and stay that way.

There are a lot of supplements said to aid in weight loss. I'm using one right now known as CLA and having good results with it, no side effects so far, and it's fairly cheap. I'm also taking a thermo, Hydroxycut Hardcore, but that's something that has potential side effects and it's pretty expensive; not for everyone.
