Decreasing AIDS infection?

Does anybody see the paradox that by making AIDS less deadly with expensive drug programs, folks will think of AIDS as no big deal?

And people thinking that way, they will be more inclinded to risk other people's health? After all, everybody that has AIDS, pretty much got it from somebody else they know.

And by extending the AIDS carrier lives longer, - they have more chance to infect others?

So by definition, AIDS therapies successes in the long run, just actually increase the infection rates in a given society?

And just like the "war-on-terror(ists)", why don't we take the battle to the 'infectors', -rather than just letting them roam our society, at will, spreading their deadly diseases?

Yeah lets just kill the people with AIDS.... and HIV. Why should they live right? I mean b/c they are sick lets just not help them! WOW you have a messed up way of looking at it. Sad that there are people like you with your view. We need to help all sick people ya jerk!

There used to be leper colonies in the USA. Shouldn't we do that now and create AIDS colonies where infected people are required to go.

Plus it would be cheaper for the government to provide health care for these people and their continued "at risk" optional behavior would not cause additional cases.
