What kind of herbal/drug remedies can be used as studying aids?

In Brazil, Guarana is touted by university studens and others as being a cerebral stimulant.

I have heard that gingko bilboa is good for your brain and neural transmission, though I do not remember how reliable that source is.

Finally, the same producers of Cold FX have come out with Memory FX (or something along those lines), which they advocate stimulates and improves your memory.
