What are the best self-tanning products and where do I find them?

My Senior Ball is in a month, and I am very pale. I used a spray-on tanner the night before my Junior Prom and it left horrible streaks on my arms. I really want a tan, but I am not sure what is a good brand to use or where to find it. Please do not suggest any lotions to help get a natural tan. I want a "tan in a can," so to speak. Stores I live closest to are Walmart, Kinney Drugs, Price Chopper, Wegmans, Walgreens, and Rite Aid. Thanks for your help!!
