Flying with a Back condition (disc protrusions) \ left sided sciatica?

For the last 5 months i have been dealing with two disc protrusions in my L4\5 and L5\S1 discs and it has got to the point where doing physical therapy is no longer possible and a surgical procedure is looking to be favorable.
However in the next month i have a debutante ball to attend of a long distance friend which requires me to fly interstate and i would like to be able to attend the function without massive amounts of pain.
I currently have prescriptions for panadeine forte, Diclofenac, and Endone 5 mg (Endone to be taken before bed to aid in pain free sleep).
Therefore i would like to know what would be the best use of the drugs listed above to aid in allowing me to attend this event before my operation, specificaly the use of Endone 5 mg and panadeine forte and if i should take Endone 5 mg over panadeine forte, or i should take them both together beforehand as well as the effects in regards to drowsiness for the options.

I ran out of space to say this before but yes i will be talking to the surgeon the week before about management methods however i am asking here for some background to hopefully have some idea of what to speak to him about when i arrive there

I've got a disk protrusion in L5-S1, and Meraligia Paresthetica. I had no problems flying last month. We flew from western NY to Las Vegas, with 1 layover in NYC.

I'm taking 900 - 1200 mg of Gabapentin and 30 mg of Cymbalta per day - both for chronic pain. Had no issues.
