How To Buy Lube?

I'm 20, the drug store I often go to has the stuff and type I want, the people like know me there, because I go there often. How to buy id glide when they most likely know what it's used for. I don't want them thinking what I'm going to use it for.

Should I just try a different drug store, its a rite aid. I mean the store is right down the street and less than a 12 minute walk. Should I catch a bus and go to a whole different store when what I want is right there?

I can certainly understand your feelings. Hell, I feel the same way when I buy toilet paper, particularly when I go to COSTCO and have to buy it by the case!!! When I was a child, my mom was too embarrassed to buy Kotex and she would give me a note and send me to the store to buy it. Once, when I had a straight roommate, he was too embarrassed to buy condoms and he asked me to do it for him. Well, I was too embarrassed myself and so I asked a gay friend of mine to do it. Talk about "trickle down economy!"

So anyway, what it comes down to is this: we all have these embarrassing things that we need in life and so we can either "suck it up" or find some sort of alternative to getting what we need. Many times now, when I need lube, I will just go to a gay sex shop and feel no embarrassment. However, if I absolutely MUST get it in a regular store, then I usually get several other items to "camouflage" my real purpose.

If you are embarrassed, then yes, you should go to a different drug store, or you could find the nearest adult book store and buy it there, which is no big deal, because everyone that goes to an adult bookstore is there for one reason, having to do with sex....

Not be insensitive, but let's be honest...
Nobody cares about your sexual practices or what you do in the bedroom. And pretty much everyone has sex, it's no big deal. In, buy it, get out. Be a man about it. Haha.

Don't use lotion. It irritates. Why not get it when you buy condoms. If you're not able to purchase the lube how are you going to ask your partner about the really difficult stuff 'what makes babies'?

I guess you could use something that people wouldn't neccesarily associate with sex, maybe aloe vera lotion, but not any kind of oil unless both you and your partner have been tested becaus oils eat through condoms.

If you have a Wal-Mart or I think their alternate name is Wally World.... They have Astro-Glide lube there for 8 bucks its way cheaper than most lubes you might see out there.
