Do you know how barbaric early surgery used to be?

Do you know how barbaric and superstitious medicine used to be?

Do you know that there are people out there today who will risk a life by praying instead of seeking proper medical attention?

Do you know how barbaric the evolution of knowledge of the human body was?

Do you know how different we treat different conditions today differ from the way we treated them 20, 50, 100 years ago?

Get your facts straight at least from a better source. This isn't a good source, it's muckraking - plain and simple. Where's the sources for this?

It is up to the parents to get all the available information and to get more than one opinion on ANY treatment for ANY condition. Not every doctor will just rush out a prescription, that is why it is important to go to a doctor with a GOOD reputation.

Yes in some cases this has actually happened, but they've blown it out of proportion. It's wrong, absolutely. But so is military testing of viruses on towns and they've been busted doing that in the past. There is a lot wrong with this world for sure, but exacerbating the facts helps no one.

You forgot to mention how these drugs can help.

You base your knowledge on hearsay but don't look any further.

I think you're overlooking the fact that in many of the cases with ADHD and depression. The medication actually help them!
If you want you can go back to seeing a witch doctor. I'll happily go and see a qualified doctor who knows what they're doing.
