Could it be post partum?

well, i've got lots of stuff going on. boyfriends relapse on injecting drugs after 9 months, Overdose and near death for him. paternal grandmothers causing problems with the childrens aid society, i got jumped at a concert, 200$ stolen from me. the list goes on.

i am lost, mother of a new 3 month old son. feeling un easy. dont know if its from the stress of everything thats making me this way. or post partum. when my child cries i cringe and feel like curling up into a ball. but i do tend to his needs. i love my son with all my heart...

what do you guys think

omg.. im not trying to harm my child.. as i said i LOVE MY CHILD WITH ALL MY HEART.. i am looking out for my childs best interest. as for protecting him . the father now has no access to our son untill he gets the treatment for drugs and mental help that he needs due to his crappy past with his alcoholic mother..

Your baby needs you. He is your #1 priority. You brought him into this world and he is your responsibility. Give him a better life than that of your boyfriend and know that you deserve better as well. Talk to your doctor, get help, you have the power to change the direction of your life, and if you won't do it for yourself, do it for your son. You're a mother first, keep that mantra in your head, and everything else should fall into place. Good luck...

Sure is postpartum! [postpartum is anywhere from months into the pregnancy to 12 months of age] I'd talk to your doctor, maybe see a therapist. You're very stressed and I can understand why! Talk to your doctor, you don't want to do anything that will harm yourself or your beautiful new baby =]

i dont think its post partum persay i think ur very stressted....maybe talk to ur doc...but i think since ur baby is 3 mths i wouldnt classify post partum

it very well could be but i doubt it .. its prob the events that are going on in your life.. being jumed can be a very serious thing.. should you be going to concerts after just having a child? Should you be around your bf when hes going through things like this i mean yes he needs you right now and im sure you love him but also remember quiting an adiction can lead to alot of anger and violence is this what you need for you and your baby? I think that you need to spend some quality time with your son rather than going out and stuff i was young when i had my son.. try joining a mommy and me class great info and you see that your not the only one going crazy from the constant crying your first child is very hard to deal with when your on your own ( i say on you own only because it seems your bf is taking the time to get his life back together ) you need the support from other people im sure you'll do just fine down the road.. just take some time to get to know your child the crying will stop soon i assure you.. adn try to hold your chin up high.. dont cringe when he cries either simply take a deep breath and remember hes only a baby, and he can tell when something is bothering you so your both very stressed.
