Sister wanting to get custody of siblings?

When i turn eighteen, my little brother will be 14, my sister will be 12, and my youngest sister will be 7. I want to get custody of them from my mother, and ill do anything possible to get custody of them. I want to get a good lawyer, a great job a good house and i want to make sure they are all happy. it seems impossible but i know they have been in foster care several times, and my mother has custody of them right now. I know im like two years away from it right now. but i wanna start looking ASAP for information. What kind programs, lawyers, an everything else can help me? I'm going to be juggling college, a job, an apartment or townhouse and i need lists of financial programs or aid as well. Im serious about this, so i need a serious answer. My mother has had a bad history with drugs, and alcohol, the same with my step dad who they live with. Also, will my siblings be old enough to choose if they want to come live with me by then? OH also, I live with my grandmother, so i dont live with, or near her...

I commend you wanting to raise your younger siblings. I know that feeling. Gaining custody is going to be really hard. The easiest way would be to prove that your mother is using. There's no guarantee that you will get custody though.

Is there a reason that your grandmother isn't raising all the kids?

I would talk to someone in social services in your area for advice.
