Is this really what Freddie looked like before he died? I don't find this article to be true because he had contracted aids from sex, and not from drugs, right? Was he really in a wheelchair before he died? I never read anything about that.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen or heard!

I knew he was extremely weak and could barely walk, but he was either in bed or was carried to where he needed to go. He could barely see so why would he need to be out and about? He would have been too weak to sit up straight in a wheelchair. (Speaking from experience as a RN.) And yes, he contracted AIDS from sex. Possibly a mutual partner of Kenny Everett. Freddie's drug of choice is cocaine which is usually absorbed through the mucous membranes, not IV.

If that's him in a wheel chair state, that's pretty bad.
I am sure people who die from aids look like this. It does wreak havoc on the body and makes one look really thin.
