AIDS causes broken down down by percentage?

I am suspicious about why we have such a lack of information on this subject? How many people get AIDS due to IV-drug use, homosexuality, heterosexuality, etc.

AIDS is caused by infection with a virus called human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This virus is passed from one person to another through blood-to-blood and sexual contact. In addition, infected pregnant women can pass HIV to their babies during pregnancy or delivery, as well as through breast feeding. People with HIV have what is called HIV infection. Some (note I used the word "some" not "all") of these people will develop AIDS as a result of their HIV infection.

According to statistics,from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the USA and dependents in 2007, in Male adult or adolescents, 213,510 are estimated to have be living with AIDS due to Male-to-male sexual contact, 63,636 are estimated to have acquired AIDS from Injection drug use, 28,691 are estimated to have acquired AIDS from Male-to-male sexual contact and injection drug use, 38,067 are estimated to have acquired AIDS from High-risk heterosexual contact (this means Heterosexual contact with a person known to have, or to be at high risk for, HIV infection.), and 3,380 have acquired AIDS do to "other"" reasons ( Includes hemophilia, blood transfusion, perinatal exposure, and risk factor not reported or not identified) .In total, 347,284 Male adult or adolescents in the USA or its dependents developed AIDS due to these factors mentioned above.

In terms of Female adults and adolescents, in 2007 in the USA and its dependents 33,531 Female adults and adolescents acquired AIDS from Injection drug use, 68,798 developed AIDS due to "high-risk heterosexual contact ((this means Heterosexual contact with a person known to have, or to be at high risk for, HIV infection.), 2,231 developed AIDS due to "other" reasons (Includes hemophilia, blood transfusion, perinatal exposure, and risk factor not reported or not identified.), for a total of 104,560 persons.

In children (<13 yrs at diagnosis), 3,592 acquired AIDS due to Perinatal reasons, and 200 developed AIDS due to "other reasons (Includes hemophilia, blood transfusion, and risk factor not reported or not identified.).

You cannot generalize these statistics to other countries, as the reasons for developing AIDS will be different in these countries.However, on the basis of these statistics we can state that adults and adolescents in the United states and its dependents, have not gotten the message about what causes AIDS and how to protect yourself from getting AIDS. Males who have intimate relations with other males are obviously not using protection, or not using protection properly.The statistics also allow us to conclude that IV drug users have not gotten the message about not sharing needles, otherwise so many males would not have gotten AIDS from injection drug usage, and males who do not have AIDS are not being careful in their choice of sexual partner, because many of them are still getting AIDS from someone who has AIDS. Based upon the statistics I present above, Female Adults and Female adolescents have not gotten the message either about using "safe sex" practices,. Men, male adolescents, Women and women adolescents are not determining the true medical history of people they have sex with before they have sex.
