How well protected are we from the swine flu?

i mean this is just like bird flu right? im 15 i don't wanna die! im so scared because we have north korea iraq and this and the economy and then the gangs and then the people who want to abuse you and your friends offering you drugs and then there is aids and cancer and then there terrorist and then theres food poising and then there is the school and stuff........im so worried im gonna die in all the ways that they say i can and my head will just explode....

There is a good chance that the swine flu is going to make lots of folks sick, but it won't be any worse than the regular flu. A few people who are more sensitive to it may sadly pass away, but you are more likely to die in a car crash than from the swine flu so it probably isn't worth worrying about.

Don't worry about all this stuff so much. The world seems like it is teetering on the brink right now, but this type of stuff has been happening for centuries, only changes in faces and technology (for better and worse). Instead of thinking about how you might be harmed, go out and do some good for another person today. It will make you feel much better!

Don't worry about it. Nothing is going to happen. I am also 15. I have bigger worries. In 20 minutes i am leaving to football conditioning and it is going to be horrible. That is a lot worst then anything you are afraid of!

Hardly anyone has died. Get a grip. In the U.S. I mean.

More people die from the regular flu.
