Yes you can find them at the local drugstores and you can also find them at Toys R Us and Walmart and Target.

Often, you can find a stuffed Elephant at a local cvs.
But, a cool way to get one is to make one at build a bear. Often, they are at the mall, you can get a full list of locations online. If you don't find one at the drug store, and don't want to go out to the mall, they are at toys r us.

There is a TY Pluffy of an elephant. You can get it wherever they sell TY stuff (they are the beanie babies) Some stores include candy shops, halmark, etc.
