Is it possible to experience a sense of euphoria without the aid of drugs?

Don't get me wrong. I have notice that that is one of the reasons some people are addicted to drugs. But I've heard you may be as happy as you permit yourself. But I think being happy is a little less than being euphoric. What do you think?

For me having a lot of sex with beautiful women, playing professional baseball (not quite yet to the Majors), having a sense of security coming within and trusting that everything is all right makes my day everyday.

This is achieveable to *everybody*. It is not some impossible state that only exists in writings. It is a real, everyday state for many people.

People tend to use the words 'happy' and 'euphoric' interchangeably, but they're really different. You can be happy over thousands of different reasons. It's whatever turns you on. Being euphoric usually denotes a 'trance-like' state of comfort and ease. You can attain a state of euphoria through self-hypnosis. It's all mind over matter.

Strenuous exercise and cigarettes! I do not drink alcohol or use drugs. The rush of the after workout smoke is incredible!

Also know that I (20 years ago) have used about every drug out there to find that perfect rush. Funny, wasted a lot of money and "living" on crap.
