Central Region of Africa?

Hi, I'd like to know what are the relationships between the countries in the central region of Africa(Central African Republic,Chad,Dem. Republic of Congo, Uganda, Tanzania) and other countries(specify countries and type of relationship as well as examples)? I'd also want to know the relationship between those countries and Australia.
What i meant is what is the importance of those 5 countries on a global scale and to Australia?
