Need help with finding funds for school.?

I am in the process of applying for disability, when and if I do receive benifits, I will have to wait a year, so that I might become eligible to receive benifits, from a program called ocupational vocational rehab or [in short] OVR. It is a program that helps disabled indivduals go to school for free. Until then, I need to find to a resource for financial aid for college, but because of my low income status, as well as my bad credit, I won't be able to apply for student loans that I have to pay back.

My wife who re-entered college, told me about, FASA.COM a site that gives information pertaining to my needs, but if anyone else has any other advise on this subject, please be so kind as to pass on the information that you may have, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

I recommend filling out the FAFSA application (www.fafsa.us)

FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The form asks for financial information and since you are at low income status with bad credit, you are more likely to receive aid from the government.

It wouldn't hurt to check out sites like scholarships.com, as you may be eligible for a scholarship as well.

Good luck.
I was not eligible for disability, so FAFSA is my only option.

It's FAFSA Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Just so you don't get confused. Also, there are billions of scholarships out there. Just plug in a search. Hope I helped a little.
