Top executives with Yahoo Inc. were hammered by House lawmakers yesterday for handing over information that helped Chinese authorities identify and imprison a Chinese dissident.



Yahoo Chief Executive Officer Jerry Yang was called before the House Foreign Affairs Committee to explain inconsistencies in the Sunnyvale, Calif., company's testimony in a February 2006 hearing. At that time, the Internet giant said it was not aware of the nature of the Chinese government's request for information on Shi Tao, who in 2005 was sentenced to 10 years in prison on charges of revealing state secrets.

I got a violation e-mail for answering the question asking when we will start loving illegals with the response "When they stop stealing." Which I actually regret, I actually meant to say "When they stop stealing and murdering." So yes.

Yeah all the Internet Company have done it. They need a law from the US government telling them it is against our law to do it.:(

Is this the same House of Representatives that passed the Patriot Act? Is it the same House that passed the Military Commissions Act? Is it the same House that passed the National ID Card Act? Is it the same House that appeases a president who authorizes torture?

From what I hear about Jerry Yang he is a true sleeze bag that should be punished for what he did to Shi Tao and his family because not only did the Chinese Government imprison Shi Tao but they also imprisoned his entire family as well including his wife.
China is not a good place to live if you don't believe in communism and want to take a stand against it and you have some slimy creep here in America who wants to assist them in sending you to prison.
But did you know that Jerry Yang is also very good friends with the Clinton's?
It just goes to show that birds of a feather really do flock together.
I live only minutes away from Sunnyvale and I can tell you that people like him fit right in with this area because most of them wear suits and will donate their mother to charity if they can use it as a tax write off.
But one day he will pay for what he did to that man and his family because even though he may be rich he's only human and all humans reap what they sow.

Dude - China is a capitalist dictatorship. They are communists in name only.
