I'm making a flyer/advertisment to pass out in my neighborhood so I can babysit ... what to say?

So far I have:

I am here to offer you my babysitting services!! I am trained in First Aid and Infant and Child CPR through my Girl Scout troop and American Red Cross Association. I absolutely love working with kids of all ages, and having been a Girl Scout for 10 years and an active teen at my church has given me some experience in working with kids, and I am here to help you!!!
I will usually be available during the day Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and at night on Mondays and Thursdays. If you are interested, please call or email!!

I've edited that somewhat, cause I'm not about to put all my personal information out on the web, but that's the jist. Anything else I should say? My 'contact information' is all there, in my actual flyer. I'm not really sure what to put on there.

I need a basic rate. I have heard from a friend that she sits for maybe 3 dollars an hour? Too much, too little?
I've had experience working with kids, but just not for money like this

So far I think that your letter is perfect! As for your rates, I wouldn't consider 3 dollars per hour. Its way too low. I would suggest 5 dollars per hour. Here are my rates:

My Rates

1-2 kids ~ $5.00/hour
Each additional child ~ $1.25/hour

*When you are babysitting a baby under 10 months old, you should ask to be paid a bit more than your regular charge, since you must give more attention, change the baby, feed the baby, and put the baby to bed.

I think 3 dollars an hour is too little for someone who is as trained as you are in CPR and first aid. I would say 5 dollars an hour - How old are you?

$3 an hour is WAYY too little especially if you get multiple kids at a house.. say $5-$10 an hour PER CHILD so they know up front how much theyre playing for because trust me its a lot more difficult caring for 3 or 4 kids then just 1. And dont advertise outright when you are available just put call for a consultation or something like that because some people will outright dismiss you because of the days but you want them to call first and see youre a nice trusting person so if in the future they need a babysitter they can call you.

The only thing missing are your work references. Mention people your prospective clients can call. It might also be a good idea to attach a general recommendation letter from people you have worked for like the church pastor (include paragraphs from other letters) will make your flyer more effective.
