Scholarship Money?

I recently received letters from the colleges I was accepted to giving me scholarship information. The problem is my parent's EFC (aka: income) is too high for me to get any aid. There are a lot of factors as to why my family and I can't afford college.
1. I have a handicapped brother who needs constant care and medical visits
2. Both of my siblings are attending private schools that do not offer aid
3. My parents are giving me about $2,000 a year for college and that's it. They can't afford to pay for me and my siblings to go to college, we are on our own.
What exactly can I do to get these colleges to see that while my family looks good on paper, in reality we have very little money to spend on my education.

You could write an appeal to the financial aid office explaining your families circumstances. I don't think I can afford my daughters private school either but it is where she chose to go....so We are getting student loans for her. She had wonderful offers of scholarships from the state school but she chose her GU instead. ... so try to appeal for funds based on your families circumstances. This was a reccomendation from a guy that goes around to the schools and tells kids how to get money for college. The schools only see your fafsa so unless they get to hear from you personally they don't know your circumstances. greasy wheel gets grease.
