Does this seem like a scam or not. this guy is offering me a loan at 2% interest rate.?

Big time SCAMMER. This guy is phishing. All he wants from you is to give him the information he is asking for. Your bank info is the most important thing he wants. If you fill out the info he is asking for, he will STEAL YOUR IDENTITY and clean out your bank account, or open up Credit Cards in your name, or buy a house in your name and sell it. Most likely this guy is in Afica, Lebonon, Carribbean, India, etc. You had better not do it. You will be sorry.

When evaulating scams, Ask yourself.....what kind of 'friend' is going to loan you money because they want 'the world to be happy?" is this guy serious? If he wanted the world to be happy why doesnt he just give you the money for free...wouldnt that make you happy?
What kind of fiance company would send out such a poorly written letter?
He makes some vague reference to his 'government approval, what agency is this that does the 'approving' and if it was legit wouldnt it have been nice to have mentioned it by name?
where is the address/phone number for this guy or business?

Use common sense when THINKING about stuff like this....

There are laws against asking about race or nationality, and sex, and marital status in the banking / lending industry in the US. This is a scam. Do not give them ANY of this personal information.

SCAM!!! The form itself is a distraction to get you to hand over a copy of your identity card which can be used to steal your identity.

Besides, the Prime Rate in accordance with the Wall Street Journal is currently 6% not 2%!

You want to know what you can do? You can go to your bank and get refered to a credit specialist that will help you, nobody relizes that they can go to their bank to find someone whos legit. If the bank screws you over you can easily sue them but that won't happen. Never trust no one but yourself! Banks is your best bid.

Besides, why would you want to give all the info to a company that spells Monetary "MONITORY"? Sounds like they are just the most professional finance firm I've EVER seen..............LOL

This is a scam. If you want to prove it, all you need do is research it on the net, or go to the bank that they say this is through. Research the bank through the net and bingo, you will find that it is a scam. Further more, I have never been able to get a credit card without a lot more info than what they have above, unless I was already in their system. Any bank loan I have taken out that was legit.......was never as easy as the above. Trust me it is a scam, or there is underlying clauses that they are not allowing you to see. Don't do it.

My guess is that most folks opt for the direct bank deposit and the guy then gets all your bank info. Then either wipes out your account or just uses all your info to generate bogus checks on your account.
