I am about to graduate in December and I haven't gotten to file my FAFSA??? Has this happened to anyone? |
I have gotten almost the maximum financial aid but this semester my mom still hasn't gotten her tax information for me to complete my FAFSA. I only have a few weeks left...I took out an Emergency Tuition Loan which covered half of my tuition and I was able to pay off the other half. I should have just paid off the ETL but paid off the actual balance instead so now I have a delinquent loan...any suggestions? do i have the option to add that amount to my balance (capitalize I think its called?)? or will i just not be able to graduate? *** I meant to say that IN THE PAST I have gotten the maximum amount. I have applied every year.... well, you may have to get a job in the meantime. Just have your mother file out a tax form, or estimate the adjusted gross and wages and plug on the fafsa and indicate have not filed. hopefully, you will not be eligible for pell. good luck |
