Which stand mixer should I get?

I used to own a Kitchen Aid, and was always very happy with it. I am looking to get a new stand mixer and I am considering the Kitchen Aid once again or the Sunbeam Heritage series mixer. Does anyone have any information on the Sunbeam? I am very uncertain. I love to bake, cakes, cookies, pies, breads, etc... but I do it for my family and friends not for professional uses. Any suggestions?

Stick with Kitchen Aid it is much stronger - lasts longer and has a better variety of expansion tools. I have had both and sold my Sunbeam at a yard sale I was so disappointed in it.

viking is best for power but KA is best for what you want out of a mixer

You owned a Kitchen Aid and you were happy with it...why switch? I wouldn't trade mine for the world - love it, love it, love it. I have the professional series and the thing won't die...stick with what you know and like. Sunbeam can't touch the quality of the Kitchen Aid.

my husband had bought his mom the kitchenaid stand mixer and that thing works so good. it can mix darn near anything you can think of. you also can get a lot of attachements for the mixer as well.

Kitchen Aid, Kitchen Aid, Kitchen Aid!!!!! The best. I have had both the Sunbeam and the Kitchen Aid, and believe me you can't compare the two!

i prefer kitchen aid. solidly built and so many attachments also. we have kitchen aid and the pasta dies. i want to add grinder soon.
