That certain plateau in music....do you feel it?

Sometimes I can listen to music in a whole different dimension, more like seeing and feeling it rather than just listening to it, its more like a religious experience where things become clearer and the world becomes better. Its a certain exstacy that may be similar to what the buddah monks call enlightenment.

Shaman's would use constant drumming as an aid to travel to other worlds to take back information from the spirit realms.

yeh i find myself sometimes creating my own music videos in my mind, but not really thinking about it, images just come, but they are very strong images and then associated feelings, its almost like a lucid dream world

many people in the music and sound industry claim to be able to see colors with certain sound frequencies. such as a male voice vibrating at 500Hz as blue and a woman's (a little higher) being a red or pink. some think that great musicians can see it prominently and can compose accordingly.This may be why some artists are fantastic while others with better lyrics are only moderate.They may be able to "transport" ones senses better than others.

Depending on my mood I'll like totally connect with Bob Marley one day, or Trance Nation the next.

Not sure about travelling to other worlds like, but it helps me enjoy the world I'm in. Life would be a bit depressing without the freedom music brings.
