Why wasn't Reagan impeached after he provided Aid and Comfort to terrorists?

Well because Republicans are Supported by weapons makers,sellers,and/or distributors. They are a very formidable force, which drives a lot of our foreign policy decisions.Their hold on our politicians keep anything meaningful from happening in the Mideast and elsewhere.
