What is the annual global death rate?

Information from the past few years is welcome. Also, how is this number broken down further into the leading *causes* of death (ie aging, heart disease, AIDS, etc)? Also, how is this number broken down even further by region (ie America, Africa, Asia, etc)? VERY IMPORTANT: Need reliable source for information. Preferably from the UN. Much thanks.

Try cia.com, I think it has that kind of stuff in it.

Here is a great site to read about it: http://www.biblehelp.org/mortality.htm

56.0 million per year

See my sources.
Hope this helps!

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND--World Health Organization officials expressed disappointment Monday at the group's finding that, despite the enormous efforts of doctors, rescue workers and other medical professionals worldwide, the global death rate remains constant at 100 percent

Exactly what God wants it to be, no more no less.

Death rate remains 100% Physical immortality hasn't been achieved.

its not that predictable, but if u look at the news closely, more ppl die than get birth, but the hospital says otherwise. MORTALITY RATE's LOWER than BIRTH RATE, thats for sure..

I don't know the global rate but what I do know is that when a person death is determined by a medical official(not all of them though) the information and results of the reason being is recorded then submitted to a national census and then the information is put into statistics and that's how they get the overall breakdown of where and how it occurred. And another point, Like I said before, because of the fact that not all information is submitted and is kept confidential, can you really say that the annual global death rate is a fact or is it rather just an estimated guess. Just something extra to think about.
