Oweing taxes but getting financial aid? |
I ended up accidently checking the exempt status on my tax information for work (I didn't know what it was, it was my first job), so they didn't take out any federal tax for the year. I owe $460, my question is, I know with applying for financial aid for college you need to file your taxes for the year first. Could I still be given financial aid even though I owe on my taxes? Financial Aid isn't based on how much you owe/get in terms of a refund. Yes, we can still offer you financial help through loan. |
