Do you think its a good idea if i do this?

if used this as a visual aid for my persuasive speech presentation. i need two visual aids
the topic is to donate money to a cancer organization

i was thinking of making giving a pamphlet with the information on American Cancer Society to donate money and on one side have these lyrics that is a song about cancer:

I hope you're not serious. Clearly, it's not a good idea.

Edit: I didn't realize it's actually a real song. I thought it was all a joke. No wonder I got thumbs down. I thought my answer was pretty 'light' (not sure what word to use) considering I dealt with having cancer this past summer.

I think it is an awesome idea, I love that song.

That's really depressing. Not everyone who has cancer dies. Maybe you should use something a bit more encouraging.

sounds like a good idea, but that is major plagerism. i guess if u cite it as an mcr song it would be ok. i would double check with ur teacher just in case before hand. but it sounds like a sweet idea.

Great idea!! Maybe a few pictures of someone in chemo-theropy or something too? Oh! What about 'The Patient' from TBP?

Oh that is such a sad song....My husband's aunt was just diagnosed with cervical cancer and must start radiation and chemo--she's 38. My grandma had ovarian cancer and it broke my heart to see her lose her hair, become so frail. What an awful disease. The only thing is that this song is too blunt!! Something more positive or not as dark.

That's an awesome idea! The lyrics are really deep, they really strike a chord (but what MCR doesn't?). If persuasion is what you're aiming at, that's a good way to get it.
