How to recieve financial aid for spring semeser at a University? |
I will be transferring to a 4 year university (NCSU) in the Spring of 2009. In order to receive financial aid in the spring. Do i need to apply for aid as if i was attending school the entire year? To be on the safe side i filled out all the needed forms and mailed them in before their March 1st deadline but, I can't find out any information about attending in the spring. Was i right to do that? What will i have to do come December? Still waiting to hear back from my advisor. Speaking with the financial aid office at the university is your best bet. I attended three different colleges, and they were all different on this issue. The most important thing to do is to make sure your FAFSA is properly submitted for the aid year, but the rest is specific to your university or even your college. |
