Financial Aid Help...?

I used Financial Aid before when I went to College, but some things came up and I couldnt finish the classes.. I still owe 2000 to the school for the classes.. I want to go back to school again, and I was wondering if Financial Aid would help me if I still owe money?
Do I have to pay off the other bills before I can go back to school?
Any information would help.. Thanks...

The new school will determine if your previous history will be a problem. Many schools will ignore it. If you are going back to the same school, they will most certainly require you pay it. If you need a transcript to attend a different school, you might also have a problem. Some banks will let you take out a loan to pay an old balance after you re-enroll. Admissions and Financial Aid at the school you are considering handle these questions all the time and will be happy to give you direction.
