Need money from the government to get out of mother's house...? |
I am 20 yrs old. I have 2 to 3 years left of college. I hate my mother, who I live with in her house. I know I am old enough to be on my own but I can't afford it since I am paying for my college and future. I want to know what my legal options are to have no legal attachment to her (I don't want her name or any association, want to say I am an orphan) and to get money from the U.S. government to live while going to school, I don't want to take out more loans. I do plan to work also and take my two dogs with me. Is there money out their for people who being abused and want to get out of the house even if your not underage? If not how am I able to get financial aid without using my mother's tax information? Contact your local housing authority ... they offer rental assistance, but only if you're working ... you have to have some type of income to pay for utilities and such.
